Our trip to Eger!
At the weekend (11.10.2013 – 13.10.2013)
Nicolas and I visited Eger with some Erasmus students. The trip was planned by
ESN (Erasmus Student Network) and luckily we had the chance to join them and to
get to know some new people!!!
On the first evening we visited the
famous wine cellars of Eger! After a nice dinner we tried the perfect wine!!!
On Saturday we visited the city. There are a lot of sights from former times. We were in the “Eger Castle”, visited the Basilica and the Minaret of Eger (40m high!), walked through the nice narrow alleys in the old part of the inner city and had the pleasure to see the “marzipan art” of “Lajos Kopcsik” - a famous confectionist.

On Sunday morning we took a bus to a
very big wellness resort called “Saliris Resort”! We swam in the healing waters
and enjoyed a nice time in the spa!!!
In the afternoon we had the chance
to test how it is to be blind. After that we went home by train.
